EDGE receives recognition as a “2009 MDEA Supplier” at the MD&M East in NYC


The winning medical technology companies in the twelfth annual Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) competition often owe much of their success to the efforts of the suppliers and designers who worked with them to develop their innovative medical devices.

MDEA suppliers operate in a wide range of areas. Design firms, materials suppliers, component manufacturers, and consulting firms all play a vital role in the development of award-winning products. The MDEA competition acknowledges the contributions of named suppliers through a program designed especially to honor the companies that support MDEA-winning products. In keeping with the global scope of the medical device industry, six of the 2009 supplier companies are from outside the United States, representing Australia, Germany (4), and Mexico.

MDEA suppliers earn the exclusive right to use the designations “2009 MDEA Supplier” or “Supplier to a 2009 MDEA Winner,” and to display the special MDEA supplier logo in their promotional materials and exhibit booths.
