Sirius XM Radio

EDGE has worked with Sirius XM Radio defining their product line for several years providing industrial design, mechanical engineering and user interface development. EDGE's design team works closely with Sirius XM marketing, engineering and product management groups to create a product line that has defined a new personal entertainment category and has received multiple awards. Challenges include developing products that need to be operated in the vehicle or at home, and must integrate successfully in either environment. Select projects include the Starmate plug and play line, which has historically been the best selling Sirius plug and play, and the Sportster line, which has sold over a million units in its current configuration. During development EDGE has worked directly with several offshore manufacturing partners from initial concept through final production.
