Daniel Doorley

Founder and principal shareholder – Over 30 years of industrial design, program management and corporate development experience including growing EDGE into an ISO certified, class leading, product engineering and design consultancy in medical, commercial and military/security technologies. With offices in Newtown, PA and Sunnyvale, CA, EDGE services clients ranging from BAE (combat vehicles) to Johnson & Johnson (medical devices), Sirius Satellite Radio (entertainment systems) and Northrop Grumman (security detection systems). Previous to founding EDGE, Dan worked for several international design studios; as a product designer for N.V. Philips (NL) and Design Manager for PA Technologies (UK/USA), among others.
Don Stires
CFO
Prior to joining EDGE Product Development Corporation as Chief Financial Officer, Don was the CFO for Power Medical Interventions, a start-up company focusing on the mechanical wound closure market. Don also served as President of MedAcoustics and at Cardio Technologies, a company which developed an innovative cardiac assist device, Don was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Don was a member of the original management board of Johnson and Johnson Interventional Systems and served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for nearly 10 years. This company was responsible for one of the most successful medical device launches in history.
Richard Pallo
Vice President, Military Technology: BS/ID
In charge of West Coast operations, has worked successfully with many military and security clients directing HFE programs as well as general design and engineering efforts. Was key program lead on efforts including development of head and helmet mounted imaging systems and displays for DRS Electronic Systems, CAE/Reflectone, Sage Technologies (Ft. Belvior), ITT Night Vision Systems, and various tactical crew stations for the US Navy. Richard is currently leading design, ergonomic and engineering integration for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle and the MRAP programs.
Chuck Miller
Vice President, Technical Operations: MBA & BSEE
As Program Manager at Sparton Medical, led multidisciplinary teams in the development of various patient monitoring systems including all design and engineering through manufacture and test. This was done through early FMEA risk-mitigation efforts and DFM-oriented design reviews with the design and manufacturing engineers to ensure the ease of manufacture and reliability of each sub-system, from the circuit board level to the top assembly levels. At Medrad, Chuck was responsible for the system engineering and management of varous medical injector projects, from concept development to production. Extensive effort was focused on assuring that the products met all regulatory requirements for UL, CE, and developed in accordance with applicable FDA and corporate policies. At EDGE, Chuck currently oversees all engineering and design activities, and works with specific clients requiring sophisticated technology solutions.
