Daniel Doorley

Dan has over twenty-five years of industrial design and program management experience including managing the design, development, testing and implementation of a laser-based, ophthalmic surgical system for Johnson & Johnson, international product design for N.V. Philips on professional and consumer technology products and the ongoing development of technology products for a wide range of industrial clients. Dan is also a guest lecturer on product development at the Wharton School of Business.
Don Stires
CFO
Prior to joining EDGE Product Development Corporation as Chief Financial Officer, Don was the CFO for Power Medical Interventions, a start-up company focusing on the mechanical wound closure market. Don also served as President of MedAcoustics and at Cardio Technologies, a company which developed an innovative cardiac assist device, Don was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Don was a member of the original management board of Johnson and Johnson Interventional Systems and served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for nearly 10 years. This company was responsible for one of the most successful medical device launches in history.
Michael Rello
Executive Vice President, Engineering
Mike specializes in project research, mechanism design, and production implementation. He developed a range of cardiovascular ultrasound scanning workstations and probes while working for ATL/Interspec, where he headed the probe development team for over ten years. Mike’s team developed a complex function transesophageal ultrasound phased array probe that can be mechanically manipulated by a physician providing real time video imaging and diagnostics.
Richard Pallo
Vice President, West Coast
Richard has over twelve years of national and international design experience developing products for the medical, military and commercial markets. He has successfully led development teams for many well known companies including DRS, Becton Dickinson, Johnson & Johnson and Steris. He has worked on a diverse range of programs including precision handheld surgical tools, laboratory instrumentation and medical imaging systems. During his tenure with EDGE-pdc, Richard has secured numerous design patents for the products he has been involved with.
